ABOUT HELENA TIKUNOVA
My name is Helena Tikunova, I am a designer of handmade knitwear, made of the high quality yarns from greatest world manufacturers. I was born in Ukraine. Now I live and work in Estonia, my second home.
The desire to stand out and freely express myself strongly influenced my decision to become a designer. Experimenting with different techniques, exploring the influence of Ukrainian and Estonian cultures, and seeking sources of inspiration where the relationship between texture and colour is harmonious and therapeutic.
Quality is my top priority. I work only with the natural premium quality yarns from leading world’s manufacturers. Thanks to my professionalism and technological capabilities, all my knitwear maintains its excellent quality. I love mixing different yarns together - yarns combinations discover interesting textures and also makes the material to be even stronger and long-lasting.
In an era dominated by mass production and fast fashion I create unique handmade goods, that would serve you for a long time and delight the eye.

I am very proud to be a member of Estonian Association of Designers (EAD). In Estonian society EAD is known as the promoter of design awareness.

All my knitwear is 100% handmade, so each of it is unique of its kind. Besides, making clothes by hand reveals freedom for creativity - I offer wide range of patterns, models and colour palette. Most of my knitwear is oversize, so you are not stick with choosing a right size.
PREMIUM QUALITY YARNS
I work only with the top high quality yarns by leading manufacturers. Most of my knitwear are made from alpaca, wool, kid silk mohair, silk, extrafine merino wool, angora yarns. I love mixing different yarns together - yarns combinations discover interesting textures and also makes the material to be even stronger and long-lasting. With good care, my knitwear is time-proof - it keeps in good shape, the colours don't fade out and the fabric doesn't lint. Natural yarns bring exceptional feelings against your skin - it is just very pleasant to wear. For me as for a designer is very important, that client would feel great wearing my knitwear.
To create beautiful things, you need good and reliable material. I have been working with Spanish, Italian and Japanese yarns for many years, and they always manage to impress me and my customers - with creative textures, fantastic colours, high quality standards.
